The objectives for which LSFI was founded are

To mobilize Academicians, Scientists, Policy makers, NGOs, Institutes, Universities, and the public, private executives / entrepreneurs to promote the concepts and practices of Science and Technology for social welfare.
To provide a forum for developing, disseminating, popularizing, publishing and exchanging of knowledge, scientific information and technologies for the benefit of all through different media.
To organize training, courses, conferences, seminars, demonstrations etc., for the benefit of public, students, farmers and scientists.
To establish Education, Research and Training Center/s, the colleges and allied education institution/s in all disciplines more specially in the emerging field, libraries, health promoting centers, hospitals, job and income generating centers for the benefit of the society and provide linkage to academia.
To institute scholarships, awards, medals for encouraging the students, scientists, and persons interested in promotion of Science and Technology for the better society development.
To promote and conserve natural resources and bio-diversity, and improve the conditions of deprive sects, women, children, and poorer classes with no political or sectarian bias.
The income of the trust on by whatever means shall be utilized for achieving the objectives of the trust and shall not be distributed among the members or anybody.

Any associations or organizations OR a person who has attained an age of 18 years, who are interested in the emerging areas of Science and Technology, Development are eligible for becoming patron members of LSFI
All members are bound to oblige the rules and regulations of the LSFI
Persons or organizations desirous of becoming patron members of the LSFI, shall apply in the prescribed format addressed to Executive Director along with necessary information.
Endowments are solicited to initiate Scholarships, Awards, Medals etc., in the name and honor of the Institutions or any respectful person of their interest.
Donations are welcome, though Small or big, towards strengthening of Life Science Foundation India for widening and deepening of LSFI services to the community of Students, Youths, Scientists and Educationists.
